Youth Group - Sundays 4-6pm
Youth Group is for 6-12th
graders:
+ check-in
groups- voluntary sharing of joys or concerns
+ snack
supper- made by someone who signs up to make it; please contact Mrs.
Limbaugh if you would like to make snack supper
+ game time- an
activity or game
+ worship and
praise portion- a lesson that may be given by one of the Youth leaders or
prepared by one or more youth
Youth Choir - Sundays
6:15-7pm
+ prepare, practice
and perform songs to be sung in front of the church congregation
Scheduled activities - These are
activities such as the Easter Egg Hunt, a trip to Laser Quest, the New Year’s
Lock in, or a trip to the hypothermia unit; these can be found on the calendar
page
+ volunteer work:
such as volunteering at the homeless shelter, going on the mission trip or
making hydration kits
+ Mission trip: a
one week trip to participate in Project Crossroads where needy people’s homes a
fixed such as installing a handicap bathroom or repairing a roof
+ Away trips:
going to places like Kings Dominion, Awakening, snow tubing, or to the movies
+ Lock-ins:
Cookies for College kids, the bi-district bowling lock-in
+ Fundraisers:
Babysitting, Potato Bar, and Super Bowl Subs are some
fundraisers where the
youth can raise money to put into their youth account which can be used to pay
for activities/events like Kings Dominion, Mission trip, or mini golf
Sticks - This
group puts on interpretive presentations during holidays such as Easter and
Christmas
Activities - All youth are welcome to come and join or participate in any
youth activity
