Prince of Peace is a very special church. 

Here are the reasons we LOVE this church!

Friendly—we were greeted not just by those at the door, but also by the people around us.

Relevance- the sermons refer back to the Bible, but add a modern parable that you
can relate to today.

Music- there is a nice blend between traditional church music and modern music.

Humor- never in my life have I laughed in church; it is a breath of fresh air.

Charming-  The modern parable is a time for the children. The Pastor tells the children a story and then they choose a stuffed animal to take home for the week so they can read to it. (This encourages reading and Christian values.)  The children love it; they go running up to both Pastors --- and it is very entertaining for the rest of the church.

Forgiving- At Prince of Peace, there is acceptance that everyone is on their own religious journey and that often times there are stressful events that bring people to church.  During each service we are forgiven and we “Pass the Peace” as we greet those around us. Never, have I felt more forgiven in church.  The greetings and hugs just melt the stress of the week away and I feel renewed to face the next week.

True Values- the qualities we noticed were found throughout the various activities
of the church.

Fellowship- there are many activities you can participate in and enjoy.  We can tend to church matters and still have fun.

Support- members of the church are very supportive of one another; we help and pray for one another.

Giving- Prince of Peace tries very hard to help others in need.  There are many ministries within the church that help the community, state, nation, and world.  There are many ways you can share your special talents and find your own little niche.

In short, we think Prince of Peace United Methodist Church exemplifies true Christian values and has provided everything that my family and I were looking for in a church.
