for Children's Cancer Research

 

The mission of St. Baldrick's Foundation is to raise awareness and funds to cure cancer in children,

by supporting cancer research and fellowships.

A message from Josh:

You heard it right - I'm shaving my head for two reasons:

............................1. to show solidarity with children who have cancer and typically lose their hair during treatment

............................2. to raise critical funds for childhood cancer research!

In the US, more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease.

A Special Prayer for Children with Cancer...

Dear Heavenly Father,

We thank you for the wonderful gift of children,

like rays of sunshine, they brighten up the day.

We thank you for our special children, who through their suffering

remind us just how precious the gift of life really is;

they remind us that we shouldn't take each other for granted.

They awaken our senses to cherish each and every moment...

Through them we are reminded of how appreciative we should be for all that you have given us...

the gifts of life, love, and salvation.

And so dear heavenly Father,

please be with these special children who have cancer and also with their families

help them to find comfort in your holy presence.

Please also be with the doctors, nurses, and researchers that they may help

these children and if it be Your Will, make them whole again.

In Jesus' name we pray.
