bike ride for Multiple Schlerosis

bike

On June 6 and 7, 2009, I will be participating in my 3rd 150 mile bike ride for Multiple Sclerosis.  In 2002, a friend of mine was diagnosed with MS and her and her family began in earnest an attempt to bring attention to this disease and raise funds to help find a cure.  In 2004, my wife and I joined the cause, and began participation in the challenge walk that occurs in the fall.

The challenge walk is typically the event to which I fund raise but this year I wanted to try something different.  I am riding with the Trails End Cycling Team, with other members of the Team Leigh Bike Team, to further the cause of MS research and awareness.  My friend and her family are very special to me and my family, so for her and the 400,000 others that suffer from this disease, I am asking for your support.  I have accepted the challenge to raise $1,000.00, but I believe I can do better than that.

Thank you for considering supporting my efforts to this worthy cause.  You can either click the link below and once you are on the web page, click "Donate to Kurt" and follow the instructions or you can write a check payable to NMSS (National MS Society) and you can mail it to me at 14924 Amaranth Court, Woodbridge, VA 22193 or you could give it to me when you see me.  I would like to have all pledges by May 25, 2009.

Thanks again for your consideration.
